Importation
Well coordinated importation operations,
safe and secure with state of the art tracking sytems
Every year, following a rigorous procurement process, we identify suppliers with the capacity to supply specified volumes of fuel within a given period. Our current (2021/2022) suppliers are:
> Camel Oil (T) Limited
> Sahara and
> Yazam Energy, a Malawian company
At the moment, our fuel is supplied through the ports of Beira in Mozambique and Dar es Salaam in Tanzania. Later in the year, we expect to start receiving fuel through the port of Nacala in Mozambique.
Storage
In line with a government approved Management Plan, NOCMA manages the country’s Strategic Fuel Reserves (SFRs) in Blantyre, Lilongwe and Mzuzu with a total storage capacity of 60 million litres.
